What do you do?

I work with defining the product in collaboration with clients and customers, I interpret the product into concepts. Every day can be very different, from something very strategic and high level to very technical details.

Why Peratech?

I want to create the next generation tech and influence great products. Our product solves challenging problems and can be used in products to really help people. The variety of our product applications is inspiring and challenging. In the US I have a home office, which enables me to work from my home which really suits me since I don’t need to drive in an area with lots of traffic and traffic jams. Since our Peratech team is sitting in different timezones it requires a great flexibility, working early mornings and late evenings. But it also gives me freedom to take the dog for a walk!

I am motivated from getting the product to market and that we create something new.

Tip to a new employee?

Ask a lot of questions, and share your ideas, don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do – we want thinkers not responders.

What do you do?

I develop our business in Korea, that includes finding new customers, think of new opportunities for our product and also keep our good relationships with existing clients. I think my most important task is to help our customers to be successful with the Peratech Solution, how can we help them to make their product better with our technology.

Why Peratech?

The best aspect of Peratech is the people, my collegues are making me better! Sometimes if I have a silly idea my colleagues helps me to make the idea better. I like that I learn something new everyday and I know the team is smarter than me alone. The team in Korea is just two people but we collaborate with the world all the time.

Being part of a technical future trend really motivates me in my work, I like to be a part of our journey and see how we can develop.

Tip to a new employee?

Be aware of the cultural differences, each team in Peratech have their own culture, their communication – and lifestyle.

What do you do?

I work in the R&D team, which covers anything from understanding the fundamental principles of how our materials and sensors work, to developing novel sensing concepts to match market demands. It’s a great mix of problem solving, experimental design and project management. It’s really exciting to take a new, seemingly impossible idea - or a complex problem to solve - and work with other people around the world to get to the solution.

Why Peratech?

The opportunities for learning new skills are endless, everyone has a chance to find their strengths and really build on them. As a small, international company there’s loads of chances to connect with other team members around the world. Teamwork and collaboration are really valued at Peratech. The people here are fantastic, everyone has a great work ethic and a great sense of humour!

Tip to a new employee?

Get involved with other departments as often as you can, and take any chance to speak to people from other teams and countries – it’s a real eye-opener to see all the exciting and innovative projects that we are working on here at Peratech! Take any new opportunity that comes your way, there’s always plenty of people to help you find your feet and who you can learn from.

What do you do?

I work mostly with prototyping development together with our clients. With my previous work experience of capacitive-sensing, I feel I contribute to Peratech’s success and how we can make the sensors even better.

Why Peratech?

I like the dynamic work environment and the size of the company. In Sweden we are a small team but very international, we work very close together with the team in the UK and China. I appreciate that the boundaries are blurred between the various departments and we act as one team even though  we are located in different places. My job here is very close to the market and clients needs.

What I get most motivated about is finding solutions and that our product has a great potential for striking through. And that I have really talented colleagues to learn from!!

Tip to a new employee?

Be open for learning and be willing to work cross functional.

What do you do?

I am based in Peratech's China office, looking after the office supplies, organizing team activities and maintaining the internal relationships between the sites around the world. I also assist the HR and Finance teams and provide backup and support to our operations team.

Why Peratech?

I've never worked in a corporate office before – it is a complete coincidence that I join Peratech. Initially, I was helping to find candidates for Peratech. But, when I looked at the job, I decided to apply for it myself. It was a change from working in hospitality, and I feel very lucky for this opportunity. As time goes on, I love the culture, the people, and the team spirit in Peratech. It inspires me a lot and makes me feel that I belong here. I have been learning a lot from the global team and definitely will learn more and grow a lot.

Tip to a new employee?

Be passionate and have a good attitude. Success is not defined by obtaining everything you want, but by appreciating everything you have. Enjoy life and enjoy working at Peratech to make it a worthy experience for you.
