Wednesday 16th November, at the IDTechEx Printed Electronics USA Show, Peratech CEO Jon Stark and Sharp Labs USA’s Director of New Business Development Dr Tolis Voutsas will present a preview of a high-resolution active matrix sensor co-developed by the two companies. The new sensor’s unveiling will occur during the presentation and interactive brainstorming session with industry experts, and is a first for IDTechEX, as the session gives the audience the chance to discuss the range of applications the sensor could be used in, and guide future development by collaborating on features and requirements necessary for a truly compelling solution.
Stark commented, “Dr Voutsas and I are running an interactive session that’s never been done before at IDTechEx and I hope it will pave the way for similar demonstration sessions in the future. This is the first time we’ve shown this active matrix sensor outside our two companies, and we’re eager to give people a sense of what it can do. Even more exciting is the open innovation session we’re conducting with cross-industry printed sensor experts and customers, who, through their input in the session, will have a direct impact on the next round of development based on the applications and requirements they suggest during the session. We’ll have people capturing the session output, so everyone who attends will get a copy of the brainstorming from the entire group. We already have a couple of applications that we’re eager to share, and we’re even more excited to work on other compelling ideas that come from the group.”
